Job Description

Member Outreach Representative will be responsible for outreaching to potential members to inform them of the company and the benefits offered, helping them elect to sign up to become a member of the center, and transporting members to the center.

BSW, MSW preferred. Extensive knowledge of Philadelphia (zip codes, neighborhoods, homeless shelters, etc.). Two years of outreach experience, specifically working in community, health, or social services. Prior medical community outreach worker experience in Philadelphia a huge plus. Prior experience working with HSX preferred. Ability to meet potential new members in Emergency Departments and inpatient units. Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to use for transport. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse population. Strategic thinker: ability to analyze, develop and implement non-traditional solutions with results, understanding patient population and financial constraints. Ability to multi-task, highly organized, and great communication skills. Excels in developing real-world solutions and is quick to resolve and overcome obstacles. Creative and enthusiastic. Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, using emails, entering documentation in CRM, with the ability to learn new computer software. Team and customer service oriented. Previous Sales Experience Highly Preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Daily travel to local regions, using personal vehicle. Frequent walking required.
