The therapist will provide quality direct and indirect patient care to individuals with addiction disorders including history of trauma. Provide individual, group, family and psycho-educational therapy to clients with addiction disorders. Conduct assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment and develop treatment plans. Provides Crisis Intervention, assessing client and providing therapeutic interventions, making appropriate referral for service.
MSW with a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing therapy/counseling. Inpatient experience, preferred. Must be able to address and prioritize multiple task demands within established time frame with experience working with adult drug and alcohol population. Good written and oral communication skills; skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention; skills in provision of group and individual psychotherapy; skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.
