- Qualification BSW
Truancy Case Management (TCM) program works in partnership with Philadelphia’s Department of Human Services and School District of Philadelphia to improve school attendance and academic achievement through early intervention and case management services for at-risk children, youth and their families.
The TCM Administrative and Data Assistant (ADA) will primarily provide assistance for overall program operations and our Social Solutions Efforts-to-Outcome (ETO) database. The ADA will serve as a liaison between SW Regional Court staff and the team on scheduled court hearing dates and conduct client satisfaction surveys with students and families in the waiting area. The ADA will lead SW school partner communications for student record retrievals.
The ADA will track and perform data entry for all referrals into the ETO database through collaboration with our TCM Program Assistant. The ADA will support the recruitment and onboarding process for new members on the TCM team. The ADA will provide frontline assistance with phone calls and complete mailings. Projects and activities will be occasionally assigned to support the capacity of the TCM team and organizational-wide initiatives. TCM staff work in a fast-pace and high-pressure environment, handling multiple and simultaneous priorities, balancing the needs of families and requirements from funders, and adherence to tight schedules and strict deadlines. The program goals are to resolve truancy issues and facilitate families’ ability to develop positive relationships that promote well-being and permanency of children in the home and school environment.
