Andrea Miner-Isaacson Ph.D., ADTR
Andrea Miner-Isaacson, Ph.D., ADTR, is a successful coach, clinical psychologist, dance/movement therapist, and trainer with over 20 years of experience. She is the co-founder of Full Circle Solutions, a suburban Philadelphia people development company.
Andrea’s focus is helping clients be successful and get what they want at work and at home. In her view, direct communications coupled with powerful relationship-building strategies are the keys to business and personal success. Andrea uses an exciting approach in her work, sometimes involving creative expression through dance and art.
Andrea coaches and counsels individuals, couples, families, and teams. She has special expertise in helping women achieve a balance between their work and personal lives as well as come to terms with food and body image. As a therapist, Andrea works with those who suffer from eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Compulsive Overeating). Her other major interests include female leadership, stress management, and the challenges facing single women. Andrea’s doctoral dissertation focused on the self-esteem of single women.
A 1977 graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, Andrea has two advanced degrees. One is a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy (1979) and the other is a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (1989). Both degrees are from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In her doctoral work, Andrea earned the Psychology Department’s 1989 award for Academic and Clinical Excellence.
Andrea is a faculty member at Drexel University. She has taught courses or trained for a variety of organizations including St. Joseph’s University, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and the Women’s Resource Center.
An experienced figure skater, Andrea is a member of a competitive synchronized skating team at the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society, the oldest skating club in the United States.
Andrea lives with her husband, two daughters, and dog in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Full Circle Solutions is based in Narberth, Pennsylvania.

Eating Disorders: Managing Treatment
Overview: This workshop will provide the participants with strategies for managing the treatment of individuals with eating disorders. Eating Disorders provide challenges due to the complex natures of these disorders. Eating Disorders include Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia and Compulsive Overeating. Treatment requires managing the food symptoms while providing opportunities to target the other Psychological issues. This workshop will provide you with tools and strategies to help your clients. You will be provided with a framework for helping individuals with Eating Disorders. It will also include practical ideas you can implement with your clients.
OBJECTIVES
Participants will learn:
1) …..how to build a team to address the issues unique to eating disordered clients.
2) … how to manage the food symptomotology.
3) …..a framework for understanding eating disorders
4) …..strategies for dealing with complex symptoms including body image distortions.
