Provide individual, group and family therapy and to implement the recovery process. Assist the clinical director in doing chart audits. Assist clinical director with managing insurance review dates for the therapists.
Participate in concurrent review process to ensure continuous funding.
Maintain communication with client family members and/or significant others and complete appropriate documentation. Serve as the designated Therapist of the Day one day per week, which includes running a psycho-education group with the community. Participate in weekly therapist meetings and weekly staff meetings and daily kick-off meetings.
Complete chart work in residents’ file and maintain to meet all standards, using computer, if applicable.
Alert Clinical Director/Medical Director to any current or potential behavior/medical problems of residents.
Maintain continuous record of all contacts (probation and DHS etc.), events, and progress toward accomplishment of goals as stated in Treatment Plan.
Review and document client progress.
MSW with two years related experience. Ability to work as part of a team.
Knowledge of alcoholism and substance use and other addictions with particular awareness of the needs of adolescents.
Ability to use therapeutic skills essential to assisting clients in process of recovery.
Competence in individual, group therapy and family intervention.
Ability to serve as a role model.
